Criancices, disse ele
Foi recentemente revelada a existência de uma carta escrita por Albert Einstein, dirigida ao filósofo Erich Gutkind, na qual revela as suas ideias sobre religião, levantando dúvidas sobre a sua crença em Deus.
Na carta, datada de 03 de Janeiro de 1954, escreveu: “The word god is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weakness, the Bible a collection of honourable, but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish.”
Einstein, que morreu no ano seguinte com a idade de 76, não poupou o judaísmo às suas críticas, acreditando que o povo Judeu não foi de maneira nenhuma o “escolhido” de Deus.
Escreveu: “For me the Jewish religion like all others is an incarnation of the most childish superstitions. And the Jewish people to whom I gladly belong and with whose mentality I have a deep affinity have no different quality for me than all other people.
“As far as my experience goes, they are no better than other human groups, although they are better protected from the worst cancers by a lack of power. Otherwise I cannot see anything ‘chosen’ about them.”

Era uma opinião que até agora contava para um lado e de repente…
António, penso que o povo gosta de “ópios”, mais, prefere os que lhes custam dinheiro e suor, por isso junta-se a vontade de uns com a ânsia de outros.
